TimeZero Professional V4 has been released from Maxsea.

MaxSea has released the latest version of its TimeZero Professional navigation software – V4.

The TZ Professional software has been designed to answer the navigation needs and requirements of all professional marine users with the latest version bringing with it a number of new features that expand its functionality for fishing and navigation.

Thanks to the cutting-edge technology, such as augmented reality, TZ Professional V4 now allows users to display the active route and cross track distance directly on the camera video feed.

Users can identify all boats equipped with AIS system surrounding them and prevent any collision risk. Visualize instantly their route points and buoys via a HD video stream even in foggy weather.

Additional features include the Premium Ocean-O service intended for pelagic fishing. This new option aims to define the best fishing areas. Indeed, pelagic species move according to different parameters such as altimetry, surface temperature or currents.

TZ’s trawl positioning mode is compatible with Marport trawl sensors, offering the capability of pinpointing the position of the trawl doors, with the advantages that this provides in terms of working around seabed obstructions and on difficult terrain.

A bottom hardness module allows users more possibilities to examine seabed conditions with precision, and this can be recorded via NMEA0183 using third party sounders, including Simrad ES70 and ES80, Koden CVS-FX series, Hondex HDX-121, HE-1500Di, and HE-7300Di, JRC JFC-130 series and Seascan sounders.

Time Zero v4 also includes multi-beam sounder integration exclusively to the WASSP F3 and Furuno DFF-3D models, with capacity to save up to 500,000 fish targets in a database. In turn, these targets can be displayed on the chart and on the 3D Cube.

New bottom lock and bottom zoom sounder views are also available. These displays help distinguish fish near the bottom from the seabed. In addition, the expanding display of the bottom and the fish near the seabed allows clearer determination of bottom density.

In addition TZ Professional offers access to the Premium Ocean-O service, designed to support pelagic fishing. This new option is designed to define the optimum fishing areas as pelagic species move, depending on altimetry, surface temperature or currents.

TZ Professional is also the only system that offers multi-day oceanographic forecast service, enabling users to go direct to areas with the best fishing potential.
