The Hull Mounted Hydrophone is used for trawl and seine applications. Detects signals from both Marport and Scanmar sensors. For full coverage in all weather conditions it is recommended that two hydrophones are used, one to starboard and one to port. When deep-sea trawling in depths greater than 800 meters, the hydrophones should be tilted 40°.
