CH37

Furuno's CH37 is a high-performance colour sonar suited for bottom trawlers, tuna seiners and other fishing vessels. Based on Furuno's exclusive multi-sector beam forming technology, it provides the combined advantages of searchlight and omni-directional sonar at a reduced cost.

It shows vivid and clear underwater images in four display modes -- Full-circle, Vertical fan, 1.5X Zoom and 3D graphics -- on a 15" colour CRT display.

The CH-37 now gives you both Horizontal and Vertical presentations combined on the same screen. Additional features are programmable scan speeds and scan ratio between the horizontal and vertical displays. Only the CH-37 Sector Scan Sonar offers this amount of versatility.

It also is the first Sector Sonar to incorporate a TNM (Trawl Net Management) display. By inputting net height and width dimensions, the Operator has the ability to overlay the net mouth opening on the vertical portion of the Sonar display. The net height and width data may be referenced to a compatible trawl system date or set manually. This useful information gives the fisherman valuable, additional time to make any net corrections that may be needed.
